Alberto Paduanelli
Founder / CEO of ALPA Medical Ltd
His experience spans over 25 years of working within the Medical Industry, from R&D to Production, Quality, Regulatory and Auditing, and this includes working for various European Notified Bodies as Senior Lead Auditor, Evaluator, Trainer, and Certification / Technical Manager.
After obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering at the Northern Illinois University of Dekalb, Alberto moved to England in 2006, where he joined one of the largest manufacturer of Infusion Pumps and Disposable in the World.
It was during his first supplier audit that he knew auditing would have been his future career, which eventually led him to leave the company and join TÜV SÜD Notified Body, the World’s largest Notified Body for Medical Devices.
Fast forwarding, and his experience and knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 13485, and regulatory approval requirements such as MDD, MDR, and MDSAP increased exponentially, culminating with the position of Certification Manager at the SGS Notified Body Headquarter in UK.
After hundreds of audits and training provided Worldwide and associated management experience, a big part of Alberto ethos was to try helping manufacturer succeed in establishing an effective Quality Management System and in the placing of their products in the various Countries under the various legislations.
This was the main reason when, back in 2016, Alberto decides to open ALPA Medical, providing him the opportunity to work with the best of both Worlds: Auditing and Consulting.
Alberto still as of today provides surveillance, certification and evaluation audits under several Notified Bodies, and continues to help companies strike for excellence in the Healthcare Industry, travelling extensively when required, providing public and private training courses and enjoying what he loves to do most.
Having invested in resources, in 2020 the ALPA Medical office in Italy was established, providing not only the same services to the Italian Market but also European Authorized Representative services.
The year after, UK Responsible Services (UK REP) were added to the already well-established UK office, to provide a one-stop-shop for customers Worldwide.

With Her experience working in Finance, had background in Management and Accounting, and managed her own business for 12 yrs, Lalaine Diputado is able to work and support AlpaMedical on dealing with the Company accounts, Client queries, Overseeing client accounts, Creating, sending, and following up on invoices. Quotation proposals, Reviewing and performing audits on financial statements and reports, and do the day to day office management.
Maurizio Paduanelli
Managing Director/ CEO Alpa medical Italia
After specializing in chemistry as a "Chemical expert chief industrial technician”, Maurizio Paduanelli continued his university studies in Physics.
He worked as a technician and quality control at Cardinal Health (now Carefusion) in the Basingstoke office (UK) in the field of biomedical equipment and more specifically in the assembly and testing lines of infusion pumps.
Since 2019 he has been collaborating with his brother Alberto, founder of ALPA MEDICAL LTD, in the field of certifications and consultancy for medical devices for the medical industry, becoming in turn the CEO for ALPA Medical Italia.
